Google Pixel is an incredibly cool phone. It also has some very cool and VERY established competition. Knowing that their desired demographic loves music, Google came to Greenlight/Live Nation to leverage our vast music connections and reach out to our massive audience to help them create awareness for the Pixel 3. That activation was so successful that we then built a brand new launch activation for Pixel 3A, the leaner meaner (read: cheaper) cousin of the Pixel 3 that’s still packed with tons of cool features. The Night Sight Experience and Pixel Pass Lounge were a hit with GovBall and Bonnaroo attendees.
To launch the Google Pixel 3, we created a multifaceted activation at Austin City Limits to show off everything the phone can do. Our laser house focused on one of the most dynamic new features of any phone on the market, the Night Sight camera, that takes the best low light photos you've ever seen. We also installed doors around the festival to show off the other key features, allowing people to interact with the phone, earn credit, and get rewarded with meet & greets with our partner talent, St. Vincent, including side stage access to her show. We then took the activation to EDC Orlando and Rolling Loud LA and teamed up with Tiesto and Tyga, respectively.
